Cheap ooma Core VoIP Phone System with No Monthly Phone Service Bills

Our Ooma Core CoIP system arrived in a timely fashion. It set up pretty much as expected, and we were operating within about 20-30 minutes. There were a couple of details that I found out later, such as needing a land line for appliances like HD/DVR as Ooma doesn't recognize the incoming signal for periodic upgrades.
This would not have changed my mind on purchasing the system, but I would have preferred to know about it before hand.
