I was dumb, I checked out Ooma almost a year before I bought it. In that time I wasted more money on phone bills than the cost of the Ooma. It is simple to set up, and as easy to use as a phone. Pick up your phone and dial, the person you called answers, you talk and listen. Really simple.
Some reviewers have complained about horrible wait times while calling Ooma suport. I waited almost 20 minutes for Ooma support. This is not acceptable but it was much shorter than the wait for my former telephone service provider when I called to cancel my service. Ooma hold music is much more pleasant than Fairpoint's was.
Another benefit is people are fascinated by it. Everyone wants to know how it works, how you heard about it, do you like.
Don't stall get it today. Everyday you wait is like giving a dollar to someone you don't like at all. Give that dollar to yourself.
