The ooma is a great devise! I had a bit of "tweaking" to do, and still want to play around a bit more for the voice quality, but so far it's comparable to my previous service. I love the idea of not having a monthly bill! I'll probably pay the (optional) $99 Premier fee before the end of my trial package ... having two lines is great! The second number is like having a "secret bat phone" that few people have access to! I talked to a company rep when I wanted to adjust settings ... he was extremely nice and helpful. I was expecting a long wait because of other reviewers complaints, but I got through right away. I have noticed that there is quite a difference in voice quality between my 2.4 GHz phone and my 6.0 (both Panasonic)with the 2.4 being much better. I tried it on the hub and the scout with the same results. So, the phone itself does seem to make a difference.
