ooma Core VoIP Phone System with No Monthly Phone Service Bills Best Quality

I was skeptical about the investment but I figure I'd give it a shot. This little box should pay for itself in 6 months and will save me $35 a month thereafter. I've been using our local cable company's phone service and I decided to make a change because it's just a home phone line. $35 a month is not worth it, especially when you're paying $$ for cell phones. I run this system strictly through a set of cordless phones, no phone lines involved. My cordless base is plugged right into the ooma hub which is plugged into my router. That's it. I'm not even using the Scout that comes with this core system. The ooma unit is gorgous and the setup was easy. The instructions are step-by-step, so easy even my husband could understand them! :) I've told all my friends and family to get one!

Edit 1/2/09 - I've been using my ooma for a few weeks now and the voice quality is really astounding. I've read a few reviews ranting about the quality but I'm not experiencing this at all. I HATE it when it sounds like you're talking on a speakerphone (both my cell and my Comcast did this) but on the ooma your voices can overlap and it's like talking on a regular phone. As for the reviews about the bad customer service, setup wasn't a problem for me so I didn't have to call. I'm not one who usually calls customer service anyways, I'd rather figure out the problem myself or research it online.
