ooma Core VoIP Phone System with No Monthly Phone Service Bills Top Quality

I have read a lot of very positive and very negative reviews of Ooma. Things are never as good as they seem, but they are never as bad either.

I bought Ooma based on the claim "never pay a phone bill again." I havent.

The quality is very good. Not as good as a land line, but better than most cell phones.

The setup was very simple and only took about 15 minutes.

I have cable internet and two networked computers going full time with online gaming and I have still had two simultaneous calls going on with no problems or reduction in quality.

I did not port over my existing phone number (clean break) and I did not buy the premium service.

Some people with Dish complained that the Caller ID didn't work, but it does- it just doesn't pop on your TV anymore- you have to have a phone with a caller-id screen to see it.

Some people also said you have to have some type of basic phone service to get this to work- you don't. I cancelled mine after trying it out for a week.

I have used it for about two months now and did not miss a beat. I do recommend it.
