After reading so many negative reviews about customer service, I felt compelled to write this review. I bought OOMA last week and set it up in 10 minutes. I did not port my old Vonage number. (I had a tough time with Vonage Customer Service when I called to cancel the account, but that is another story.)

I called OOMA customer support to confirm that I do not need premium services even if they are free for first 2 months. After calling the number, automated announcement started. It asked me to pick an option out of three choices. I pressed # 3 as I just wanted to talk to a rep. Within a minute, I got someone on the line. He confirmed that premium services expire automatically once the trial period is over. I do not need to take any action unless I want to continue with the premium service.
