I ordered the system several weeks ago and received it within 3 days. Set-up went very smooth. No hitches or glitches. It took about 20 minutes total time and I had a working phone (including extension). Ooma works exactly as advertised. Excellent voice quality(actually better than my old conventional phone line), simple to operate (like an ordinary phone), no monthly bills, free calling anywhere in the U.S. to anyone. I did some research before purchasing Ooma. I wanted a full featured system that did not put software on and/or run through my computer (like MagicJack) and one that did not require the call recipient to also be a member in order to make the call for free(like PhoneGnome and Skype). I also wanted a system that did not require my computer to be on in order to work. In addition I needed a system I could port my home phone number to. I got all of that with Ooma. I have eliminated my phone bill and Ooma will pay for itself within 6 months. Home phone service for free. Can't beat that! I don't believe there is a better system out there.
