I am satisfied with our switch to Ooma. Although the sound quality is not quite as good as my old land line, it is pretty close and I've had no problems. I have 1.5M DSL and it is more than sufficient to operate the Ooma. The hardware is very solid and looks to be built for the long haul. My main concern prior to making the plunge was the customer service issues and difficulty other have had with porting. Fortunately Ooma provides an alternative to waiting on the phone for service. I was able to email the necessary information to complete the porting process - it was completely painless. Ooma is now available at more and more retailers, although I found the best price at Amazon.
