With only 2 days under my belt, I'll give you my initial impressions thus far and they are good.

I plugged the unit in just as easily as stated.
To be honest as an IT pro, it was pretty cut and dry anyway, with a slight twist as Vonage is continuing to provide inbound service while my number is being ported over.
Broadband (cable) went into my vonage router, a line from the router to the Ooma hub, and the phone line from the Vonage router into the hub as well.
Initially inbound calls took a bit longer to connect than expected, but after 2 or three had gone through it seems to have configured itself nicely.

Thus far I have just 2 issues.

The first is that outbound calls take much longer to connect, or even dial. It could be this is due to the fact the hub is not the primary hardware off the cable modem, or perhaps an aspect of Ooma. Time will tell.

My second issue is that voice mail access differs. I can no longer dial *123 to get to my mailbox, and have to use the public local number instead (no real problem).
Along with this is that my phone no longer alerts to new voicemails.
While this is certainly not a huge issue, I hope this all goes away when Vonage goes away.

I'll be sure to edit my review, but I am pleased thus far.Get more detail about ooma Core VoIP Phone System with No Monthly Phone Service Bills.
