I have had OOMA for about 2 months now and have never had any issues after I got it running. The OOMA hub did not like the initial setup, so I simply plugged it into the back of my wireless router (as directed by OOMA tech support) and no more problems.

There are some reviews here that trash-talk OOMA tech support, however, I feel that they have served me significantly better than any other tech support I have dealt with. I waited no longer than 1 minute on the phone to get in touch with a human being, now that has to be some kind of record.

Call quality has been great withing the US, better than land line, actually. Calls to Europe have been just alright, nothing to brag about.

It is nice to hear that they have been growing exponentially as of late, which hopefully means that they will be around for good.

You don't truly start to appreciate them until you call your land-line phone company to have them pull the line. In my case, I switched my DSL to a "dry loop" which turned the line into a DSL only line, no dial tone. I was able to increase my DSL speed to 5 Mbps from 3 Mbps and still save $50.00 a month over my previous setup.
