ooma Core VoIP Phone System with No Monthly Phone Service Bills Immediately

I am a refugee of Sunrocket scam and ended up moving to Net2phone about 18 months back. After the initial 10 month free service I got from Net2Phone, Net2Phone started charging me about $23 per month. So I started looking for other cheaper options and after reading multiple good reviews about Ooma, I jumped and took the risk by buying the device for two hundred (also the current promotion of $50 international call credit will bring the price down to about $160 in reality).

Yesterday I received the unit and setting it up was a breeze. No real issues and my configuration is Cable Modem -> Router -> Ooma. Call quality is good. The only problem I have now is with Voicemail setup. I called tech support (wait time was about 20 minutes) and they promised me that the voicemail issue will be addressed in 24-48 hours. I also initiated the number porting process and I am told that it will take about 3 to 4 weeks.
